About
St Mary's Greek School
Our school aims to teach our students the Greek language, history and culture. This includes traditional costumes, dance and music, celebrations of popular events and folk plays. We are a community passionate about our heritage, whilst simultaneously displaying respect and appreciation of different beliefs and cultures. We are a collective, happy and friendly environment with excellent teachers and fantastic GCSE results.
Our school day starts with lesson time, a breaktime at 3.30-4pm where the children play in the hall (or outdoors if the weather is nice), and have an opportunity to eat their packed lunch or purchase snacks from the tuck shop. Children then return to classrooms for lessons. The children also have a 20 minute dance lesson.
Tuck shop items range from 40p to £1.
